The Ruesch Center continually strives to lead the fight by galvanizing efforts to refocus national attention on gastrointestinal cancer research and by facilitating sustained dialogue within the medical and scientific communities and beyond. The Ruesch Symposium brings together an audience of clinicians, researchers, patients, caregivers, policymakers and representatives from industry. The Symposium provides a unique forum for discussion, networking and debate of critical issues related to GI cancers.
Part 1: Innovations in GI Cancer

A unique forum for discussions on cutting-edge research, and the pipeline of promising new therapies and technologies in GI cancers. Topics include innovations in therapeutics, cancer genetics and targeted therapies.
Special Session: Advances in Nuclear Imaging & Therapy for Neuroendocrine Tumors

Part 2: Precision Oncology Web Educational Resource (POWER)
Saturday, November 21 | 8:15 PM-2:00 PM
The POWER course will eliminate practice gaps in oncology and teach physicians (across the world) to assess the right biomarkers of response to systemic cancer therapy, at the right time, in the right patients. Moreover, course attendes will have an opportunity to practice the interpretation of broad molecular profiling results for optimal patient care. 
Part 3: Patient Symposium
Saturday, November 21 | 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
The Patient Symposium will provide patients and families with disease-specific information, education, and tools for managing their cancer care. Promising emerging therapeutic approaches will be examined and discussion encouraged. Plenary topics include adapting to a new cancer care landscape in the midst of COVID-19 and how advocacy organizations push GI research forward.
